THE AGE OF ANALYTICS: COMPETING IN A  DATA-DRIVEN WORLD

Few dispute that organizations have more data than ever at their disposal. But actually deriving meaningful insights from that data and converting knowledge into action is easier said than done.

Currently, many firms are talking about doing something with their data, but the line from idea to execution in this category is fraught with errors. It takes a combination of business skills and technical skills working in tandem, and most companies just aren’t set up that way.

To get the right insights, to optimize processes classical business intelligence and data warehouses will help. We help you and your organization to become a smart company where fact-based decisions will help you to compete in the data-driven world. Getting your interest? Let's talk.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL SOON CHANGE HOW WE CONDUCT OUR DAILY LIVES. IS YOUR ORGANIZATION PREPARED TO CAPTURE VALUE FROM THE ONCOMING WAVE OF INNOVATION?

After decades of extravagant promises and frustrating disappointments, artificial intelligence (AI) is finally starting to deliver real-life benefits to early-adopting companies. Retailers on the digital frontier rely on AI-powered robots to run their warehouses and even to automatically order stock when inventory runs low. Utilities use AI to forecast electricity demand. Automakers harness the technology in self-driving cars.

A confluence of developments is driving this new wave of AI development. Computer power is growing, algorithms and AI models are becoming more sophisticated, and, perhaps most important of all, the world is generating once-unimaginable volumes of the fuel that powers AI, data.

STRATEGY

& DATA CONSULTANCY

Why Organizations Need a Data Strategy

What is a data strategy? A data strategy is the comprehensive vision and actionable foundation for an organization’s ability to harness data-related or data-dependent capability. It also represents the umbrella for all derived domain-specific strategies, such as Master Data Management, Business Intelligence, Big Data and so forth. It is actionable, relevant to the organisation, evolutionary and integrated.

A Typical Enterprise Data Strategy includes the following components:

  • A definition of what types of data or information needs to managed from an enterprise perspective.

  • A determination in regards to roles (organizational) in terms of who owns what data or data systems.

  • A mission statement in relation to exploitation of data assets.

  • Initial or top level expectations for enterprise-wide service level metrics (for data systems and data quality).

  • Introductory versions of all domain-level or specific sub-strategies, such as; Data Governance, MDM, Content Management, Big Data etc.

  • Top level planning decisions or expectations for making those designs.

  • Identification of key organizational challenges and anticipated design decisions.

Enhancing BI Systems Application through the Integration of IT Governance and Knowledge Capabilities of the Organization is covered by our maintenance and support team. The enhancements create a better fit of your solution for your users and make that the solution stays state-of-the-art.

04

Enhancement

Within the IT Service Operation part of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, the Service Desk function is center-stone, acting as a single point of contact for all end users. The Service Desk usually logs and manages all incidents and service requests, and provides an interface for all other Service Operation processes and activities. The Service Desk is the key to the implementation of the Request Fulfillment and Incident Management processes. It’s important to understand that Incident Management is a cross-IT organization process, not a Service Desk-only process!

03

Support

Release management is an important component of the service transition process, which is described in the itSMF ITIL V3 framework. The main aim of Release Management is to build, test and deliver the capability to provide the services that are specified by Service Design and that will accomplish the stakeholder’s requirements and deliver the intended objectives.

All new or changed services have to go through a Release Management process to ensure that the capabilities expected by the stakeholders are achieved as expected.

02

Bug Fixing

The business depends on the data warehouse to be refreshed at an agreed interval (or continuously). Failure to fulfill that responsibility puts the reliability and dependability of the data warehouse in question. Therefore, the data warehouse cannot succeed without efficient and persistent data feeds. The ETL team must monitor and evaluate the ETL jobs to ensure they are operating efficiently and the data warehouse is being loaded in an effective manner.
